Months ago, The Sith Troopers were revealed to be a new threat in the Rise Of Skywalker, and the visual dictionary distinguishes the legions by naming them after ancient sith lords from Star Wars Legends. In KOTOR's backstory, Revan was the founder of the crusaders. The plot of said game was set 4,000 years before the events of Lucas' original films. One such piece happens to be an official visual dictionary that includes the history and details behind the films' pieces of iconography.
